Over-18s bassline night at Network Sheffield with DJ Alex James and other Sheffield bassline DJs and producers.
Alex James takes the decks at Network Sheffield on Saturday 7 November, part of the Basstime night. It's a bassline-focused club night, and James is the main feature on the bill.
Basstime is billed as a night of pure bassline energy, bringing together some of Sheffield's most exciting up-and-coming DJs and producers. The music moves from deep underground rollers to high-energy anthems, so the set should cover a fair bit of ground within the genre. It's dedicated to the next wave of Sheffield bassline, and as the name suggests, the bass is the whole point.

Network is on Matilda Street, just off the city centre, and the night runs from 23:00 on Saturday through to Sunday morning. It's strictly over-18s, and you'll need photo ID at the door, so don't leave yours at home. Entry is £8. If you're into bassline and want to see what the city's newer DJs are doing, this is a straightforward way to catch it.
