Baby-friendly guided tour of the 'Good Morning: A Day in Art' exhibition, led by curator Katie Irwin for parents and carers with babies and young toddlers.
Millennium Gallery is hosting a baby-friendly tour of Good Morning: A Day in Art on Tuesday 3 November, from 10:30 to 12:00. It's an informal walk through the exhibition led by curator Katie Irwin, put together for parents and carers with babies and young toddlers. The session runs with the support of The Art Working Parents Alliance, and there's a cuppa and a bit of time to reflect on your own experiences of everyday life built in.
The exhibition itself is Good Morning: A Day in Art, by painters Chantal Joffe and Ishbel Myerscough, who've shared a close friendship and artistic dialogue for decades. Their work is distinct in style but united in how it looks at family, friendship and the everyday. The show traces a single day through the eyes of more than 80 artists, hanging the artists' own paintings and drawings alongside works from Sheffield's collection by William Blake, Prunella Clough, Paul Gauguin, David Hockney and Claudette Johnson.
