Alabama 3 Acoustic

Alabama 3 are playing the Hallamshire Hotel on Saturday 31 October, their first Sheffield date since 2023. They're touring as Alabama 3 Acoustic, so this is a stripped-back version of the band rather than the full electric setup they're usually known for. The set will be supported by FORK, who open the night before the main act takes over.

If you've followed them for a while, you'll know they've built their name on a mix of dance, gospel and country, and that's still the core of what they do. The acoustic format changes the feel of it, though — it's a more stripped-down take on the songs, with the vocals and the songwriting sitting a bit closer to the front than they do when the full band is in full swing. It's a different way of hearing the material, and it's what they're taking across this run of dates.

The venue is the Hallamshire Hotel at 182 West St, in the city centre. Doors open at 19:30, with FORK on first and Alabama 3 Acoustic following. Tickets are £30 in advance, so if you're planning on going, it's worth getting yours sorted before the night.
