Aesthetic Perfection

Aesthetic Perfection plays Corporation on Friday 30 October, with Priest and IAmImperfect opening the night. It's the industrial pop project of Daniel Graves, a Los Angeles-born, Austria-based singer-songwriter and producer who's been at this for over 26 years. He describes his work as pushing the boundaries of dark electro, fusing industrial aggression with pop precision, goth atmospherics and forward-thinking production across seven full-length albums.

Graves has played some of the world's largest stages, including multiple arena tours supporting Till Lindemann of Rammstein across Europe and North America. He's collaborated with Richard Z. Kruspe (Rammstein), Sean Beavan (Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Guns N' Roses), Rhys Fulber (Fear Factory / Frontline Assembly), Celldweller and Sebastian Svalland (Pain / Katatonia / Lindemann), among others. His music has appeared in Netflix original programming and on the Underworld: Awakening soundtrack.

Following the 2019 album Into the Black, he launched the '12 Singles in 12 Months' project in 2021, which produced his biggest hit 'S E X' and culminated in the 2022 compilation MMXXI. In 2025, marking the 20th anniversary of his debut Close to Human, he released Closer to Human, a re-recorded and re-envisioned interpretation of the album that launched his career. That's the record he'll be drawing from here, alongside the newer material from the singles project.
