Over-18s midnight release party themed as a Fae Ball for the sixth book in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series, with music, crafts, a quiz and a best-dressed prize.
Waterstones in Orchard Square is hosting a midnight launch for the sixth book in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series on Monday 26 October, the latest from Sarah J. Maas. It's a late one: things kick off at 22:00 and run right through into Tuesday 27 October, with the new book becoming available the moment the clock strikes midnight.
The night is themed as a Fae Ball, and that's where most of the activity sits. There'll be music, games, crafts and magic on the go, and you're encouraged to turn up in Fae Ball outfits, with a prize for the best dressed. Drinks and nibbles will be available throughout. If you're in the mood for something to do, there's a chance to bedazzle a favourite SJM book, make a masquerade mask, take part in ACOTAR colouring and test your knowledge in an ACOTAR quiz. The author won't be there in person, so the focus is on the party and the activities rather than a reading or signing.
