Fourth annual business conference by the African Business Association Yorkshire, with workshops, breakout sessions, sales exhibitions and networking.
The African Business Association (ABA) Yorkshire is holding its 4th Annual ABA Business Conference at SADACCA Community Centre on Friday 20 November, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. It's the fourth time they've run this, and it's built around the theme 'Connecting Enterprise, Creating Thriving Opportunities in a Changing Economy'.
The day is set up as a mix of practical workshops and breakout sessions, with business conversations led by seasoned speakers. There are also sales exhibitions and networking running alongside, so it's as much about the people in the room as the sessions on stage. The whole thing is aimed at helping businesses adapt to a changing economy, and it's put together for entrepreneurs, business leaders, professionals and organisations.
Behind it is the African Business Association Yorkshire, a community-focused organisation that works with African entrepreneurs and businesses across the UK through mentorship, business support, networking and knowledge sharing. Their Board of Advisory is chaired by Bolu Fagborun, who built an eight-figure business — a journey that's been featured in The Voice newspaper.
