A midweek comedy night featuring a curated mix of around ten stand-up comics at Laughs Comedy Club.
Laughs Comedy Club runs the Wednesday Night Comedy Mix on Wednesday nights, from 8 PM to 10 PM, at 5220 Roosevelt Way Northeast in Seattle. It's a midweek break that brings together around ten comics in one night, mixing new performers with seasoned professionals, and fresh jokes with longer stories. Because the lineup changes, you'll get a different combination of voices each time you go.
That mix is the whole point of the night. You'll hear comics who are just starting out alongside people who've been doing this for years, and the set blends short, punchy bits with the kind of storytelling that takes a few minutes to build. With ten comics on the bill, the energy shifts as the night goes on, and you're likely to see a few different styles of stand-up in a single sitting.
Laughs does more than just put on shows, too. They run a four-week comedy and social media class with Ellen Acuario for anyone interested in the craft, and they host the 48th Annual Seattle International Comedy Competition, which they call the real 'Last Comic Standing' and America's biggest touring comedy festival. If you're into the scene, the club is a good place to keep an eye on.
