Quarterly drag, burlesque and performance art revue hosted by drag star Bosco at The Crocodile in Belltown.
Bosco brings Grindhaus back to The Crocodile on Saturday, October 17, the latest installment of a quarterly series at the Belltown venue. This one is a 21+ show, and the lineup puts Bosco alongside Naomi Smalls, Aja, and King Molasses.
Grindhaus is billed as Seattle's premier drag, burlesque, and performance art stage show, and it's staged every few months at The Crocodile, which serves as Bosco's home venue. The revue mixes the energy of a classic drag show with the glamour of burlesque and cabaret, and a touch of performance art, rounded out with video skits, props, and backup dancers. The organizer calls it a "Not-Your-Typical-Drag-Show" and says it always sells out.
Bosco herself is a Seattle-based showgirl, producer, and drag artist. She's best known as a star of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 10 and a finalist on Drag Race Season 14. Since then, she's toured the world, walked the New York Fashion Week runway, held a residency on the Las Vegas Strip, and starred in her own Paramount-produced documentary. She's also launched GrindhausTV, a YouTube series featuring past performances with Symone and Norvina Dubois.
