Australian hyperpop producer Ninajirachi performs live at Showbox SoDo, with support from iKeda.
Ninajirachi plays Showbox SoDo on Wednesday, January 6, 2027, with iKeda joining her on the bill. The show starts at 8 PM, so it's a mid-week night that doesn't run too late.
If you haven't come across her yet, Ninajirachi is Nina Wilson, an Australian electronic producer who helped put Australia's hyperpop scene on the map. She started making music before she even finished primary school, drawing on piano lessons and the dance-pop of Lady Gaga and Ke$ha. From there, she found her way into internet electronic music communities, a move spurred on by the Porter Robinson fan community. She eventually became an Unearthed High finalist on triple j Unearthed and released through NLV Records, with tracks like "Lapland" and the Lapland EP.
Her debut album, I Love My Computer, hit number one on the ARIA Dance Albums Chart and earned eight ARIA nominations, winning three. True North followed, and The Atlantic named it one of the top ten albums of 2021. Rolling Stone described her sound as garnering respect from both the experimental underground and the mainstream, and that crossover shows in the companies she's worked with: Nike, Sega, and Ableton have all tapped her. Since 2022, she's also run her own annual headline event, Dark Crystal.
