Monday Night Trivia with Quiz Fix

Monday Night Trivia with Quiz Fix runs every Monday at The Octopus Bar in Wallingford, and it's a full night rather than just a quick game. The trivia kicks off at 7 PM, with registration opening at 6:30 PM, so you've got a half-hour window to get your team together and signed in before the first round starts.

Host Elec leads six rounds of questions, music and fun, while Quiz Fix handles the screens with themed, audio and picture rounds. Teams are capped at six people, and there's a payout for the top three: first place takes a $50 gift card to The Octopus Bar & The Salty Shack, second gets $30, and third gets $20. Once the trivia wraps, the night keeps going with karaoke hosted by Pat Clark.

The Octopus Bar is a 21+ Wallingford neighborhood bar and Seattle landmark, filled with maritime curiosities, strong cocktails, rotating draft beer, and $6 happy-hour pints. It has two patios, so you can step outside when you need a breather between rounds. Attached is The Salty Shack, an all-ages food spot serving sandwiches, wraps, hot dogs, salads, fried favorites and Lil Matey kids meals until 10 PM, which makes it an easy spot to bring the whole crew and eat before or after the game.

Trivia is free to play. Seating is first come, first served, so if you're bringing a larger group, arriving early is your best bet. If you grab a ticket through Eventbrite, you'll get a Jell-O shot to start the night. The Octopus Bar is at 2121 North 45th Street in Wallingford.
