An all-inclusive improvisational jam session open to musicians of all genres, with doors and sign-up at 7:30pm and jam at 8pm.
Mo' Jam Mondays is back at Nectar Lounge on Monday, October 12, and it's an open call for anyone who plays. It's an improvisational jam session where musicians from all genres get on stage together and build original grooves on the spot, rather than running through a set of covers. It's been running every Monday night since 2013, so it's a long-standing fixture of the city's music scene.
The night is open to instrumentalists, vocalists, percussionists, emcees, and turntablists alike, and it's presented by Mo' Jam Presents with KZ Media, Davy Nefos, and Morgan Gilkeson. Because it's a jam, the music changes every week depending on who shows up and what they bring to the stage.
Nectar Lounge is Seattle's largest indoor/outdoor music venue and has been booking international, national, regional, and local artists across all genres since 2004. The Showroom is equipped with professional sound, lights, and lasers, and there's a main bar stocking craft beers and cocktails. The mezzanine adds eight VIP booths with a private bar and bathroom, and a climate-controlled outdoor patio opens onto the room.

Doors open at 7:30 PM, which is also when the jam sign-up starts; the music kicks off at 8 PM and runs through 11:30 PM. There's no cover, though donations are requested. The night is restricted to over-21s.
