Nectar Lounge is hosting an emo and pop punk Halloween party on Friday, October 30, with DJ Baby Van Beezly on the decks. It's a 21+ night, so you'll need your ID at the door.
Beyond the music, there are a couple of contests to get into: a costume contest and a screamo contest. If you've spent the last few weeks working on a costume, this is a good place to wear it out. The screamo contest is a bit more specific—basically a chance to step up and let it rip if that's your thing. Go-go dancers will be performing throughout the night, too.
DJ Baby Van Beezly is the main feature, and the whole night is built around emo and pop punk, so that's what you'll be hearing. If those are your genres, you've got the music, the costumes, and the contests all in one spot.
