Immersive 360-degree dome show exploring the philosophy of Alan Watts, with shows at 6:30, 7:45 and 9:00.
Trust the Universe opens at The Fleet Science Center in Balboa Park on Sunday, October 18. It's an immersive 360-degree dome show built around the philosophy of Alan Watts, the British philosopher and speaker who spent decades introducing Eastern thought to Western audiences. The production wraps his ideas in a full-dome experience, and the center describes it as something that expands the mind and opens the heart.
Before landing in San Diego, the show played to sold-out audiences across Canada. It fits right in with the other dome experiences the center runs, like Circle of Light, which focuses on the love of Rumi and Shams. The Fleet presents it as part of its broader mission to realize a city where everyone is connected by the power of science, and the dome format puts you right inside the visuals rather than watching them on a flat screen.
