Punk rock cover band Spike and the Gimme Gimmes perform at The Observatory North Park, featuring a mix of country crooner vocals and punk rock distortion.
Spike and the Gimme Gimmes play The Observatory North Park on Friday, December 4, 2026. It's a punk rock show, and the band bills itself as a super-group and the world's greatest touring cover band.
Sean 'Spike' Slawson fronts the group and has been performing since 1995. The sound puts country crooner vocals up against punk rock distortion, and the lineup changes from show to show. The band draws from a revolving door of musicians who've played in The Ramones, Black Flag, Social Distortion, Rocket From The Crypt, The Damned, Strung Out and No Doubt.
Past lineups have included CJ Ramone, 'Swami' John Reis, Andrew 'Pinch' Pinching, Jake Kiley, Dez Cadena, Stacey Dee, Jonny 2 Bags, Dave Hidalgo Jr., Andrew McKeag and Adrian Young. With that kind of rotation, the lineup is part of the draw — you're as likely to see a member of The Ramones as you are someone from No Doubt or Black Flag.
