San Diego FC takes on the Houston Dynamo for Pride Night, in partnership with San Diego Pride, as part of the club's 2026 Celebration Nights series.
San Diego FC takes on the Houston Dynamo at Snapdragon Stadium on Wednesday, October 14, for Pride Night, held in partnership with San Diego Pride. It's a mid-week match, with kickoff at 7:30 PM.
The game is one of eleven themed home celebrations San Diego FC has planned for the 2026 season, their second in MLS. The club describes these nights as leaning on bobbleheads, jerseys, hats and other fan-favorite giveaways that honor San Diego's sports culture, its communities and the global game. Pride Night fits right into that mix, with the partnership with San Diego Pride putting the city's LGBTQ+ community at the center of the evening.
To get a sense of how this fits into the rest of the season, it helps to see what else has been on the calendar. The home schedule opened with the Home Opener on Saturday, February 21, and from there the themed nights have touched on a few different corners of the city. There was San Diego Sports Night on March 1 with a football jersey giveaway, and Kids Night on March 22, presented by the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance. On May 16, the club handed out an Anders Dreyer 'El Paletero' bobblehead to honor the 2025 MLS Newcomer of the Year. The run continues through the fall, with Military Appreciation Night on November 7 featuring a camo beanie giveaway for active-duty service members, veterans and their families.
