If you're not familiar with them, Of Mice & Men are a metalcore band from Costa Mesa, California. They formed in 2009 when Austin Carlile and Jaxin Hall started the group after Carlile left Attack Attack!. The current lineup is Valentino Arteaga, Phil Manansala, Alan Ashby and Aaron Pauley on vocals and bass. Their sound blends metalcore, post-hardcore and alternative metal, and it's leaned more melodic on their later albums. They've been releasing records since 2010, with The Flood, Restoring Force, Cold World, Defy, Echo and Tether among them, and they've played stages like the Vans Warped Tour. The band takes its name from John Steinbeck's novel Of Mice and Men.
