Maris plays Casbah on Friday, October 9, at 7:30 PM. She's a Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter born in Montana, and the Los Angeles Times has called her "pop music's next Mega Star."

Her sound sits at a cross between heartland rock and glam-pop bombast, and she carries that same DIY energy across her songs, her social content, and her live shows. The breakout moment came with "Give Me A Sign," a collaboration with Caroline Kingsbury that made Spotify's Best Pop Songs of 2025 and helped her sell out her first headline show at DC9. "Body Is On Fire" kicked off her new phase from there.

She's been playing bigger stages lately, too. She performed at Boston Calling alongside Ed Sheeran, Chappell Roan, and Reneé Rapp, and "SUPER F★CKING MEGAST★R" landed at #4 on Stereogum's Top Pop Songs of 2025.
