Madeon, the visionary French producer Hugo Pierre Leclercq, presents his album Victory live at The Rady Shell, with guest Contact Sports.
Madeon brings his album Victory to The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park on Friday, October 23, with guest Contact Sports. The show is presented by Goldenvoice.
Madeon is the stage name of Hugo Pierre Leclercq, a French producer, singer, and songwriter who first went viral at 17 with his Pop Culture mashup—a live mix of samples from 39 songs played on a Novation Launchpad. Since then, he's played festivals like Coachella and Lollapalooza and shared bills with Lady Gaga, who invited him to open arena shows and record together, as well as Coldplay, Ellie Goulding, Muse, and Deadmau5.
His 2015 debut Adventure earned rave reviews, and his 2019 follow-up Good Faith debuted at number one on the Billboard Dance/Electronic chart and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Electronic Album. His new record, Victory, is described as a multi-media masterpiece sitting at the intersection of punk, indie rock, electro-clash, sci-fi, and high fashion. That's the album he's bringing live to the Shell.
