Cascade Effect, Brokencyde, Dot Dot Curve, Resider

Cascade Effect headlines The Holding Company on Sunday, November 15, with Brokencyde, Dot Dot Curve, and Resider rounding out the bill. It's a four-band afternoon, running from 1:30 PM to 7 PM, so you'll be in and out well before dinner.

Brokencyde is the name that'll ring most familiar if you've spent any time in the scene. They're a duo from Albuquerque, New Mexico, currently Mikl Shea and PhatJ. Over the years, they've toured with Hollywood Undead, Senses Fail, Breathe Carolina, and Jeffree Star, and they once played the entirety of Vans Warped Tour. Their numbers add up, too: more than 20 million total views and a peak at #86 on the Billboard 200. They've picked up co-signs from E40, Paul Wall, Fronz of Attila, Ayesha Erotica, Kottonmouth Kings, and Mickey Avalon. Their sound pulls from crunk, hip hop, and screamo, so it's a bit of a hybrid—part rap, part heavy.

Cascade Effect takes the top spot on the bill, with Dot Dot Curve and Resider filling out the rest of the lineup. It's a full afternoon of music, starting at 1:30 PM and wrapping up by 7 PM, so you can catch all four acts in one go. Tickets are $10 and $20, and the show is at The Holding Company, 5046 Newport Ave, in San Diego.
