Concert by the Los Angeles indie-rock trio Bad Suns at the House of Blues San Diego.
Bad Suns play the House of Blues San Diego on Sunday, February 21, 2027. They're a Los Angeles indie-rock trio formed in 2012 by Christo Bowman on vocals and guitar, Gavin Bennett on bass, and Miles Morris on drums. They went viral almost immediately with a sound that blended indie rock with an '80s synth sheen, and they've spent the years since building a following across four albums.
Their most recent work is Accelerator, a 12-track album released in 2025 that opens with the sober, personal "Slow Karma." It followed the 2023 EP Infinite Joy. Before that, the band worked with producer Eric Palmquist on their 2014 debut Language & Perspective, as well as Disappear Here in 2016 and Apocalypse Whenever in 2022. Palmquist has also produced for Tate McRae and Half Alive, and he's been behind the board for three of the band's four albums.
