Concert by AJ McLean, former member of the Backstreet Boys, at the House of Blues in San Diego.
AJ McLean plays the House of Blues in San Diego on Friday, February 5, 2027. Most of us know him as one-fifth of the Backstreet Boys, but this is a solo date.
McLean has been with the Backstreet Boys since 1992 and has contributed to every one of the group's albums, including the chart-toppers Millennium (1999), Black & Blue (2000), and DNA (2019). The band has sold more than 180 million records worldwide and is recognized as the best-selling boy band in history. He's a singer, songwriter, and dancer whose style blends soul, pop, rock, and R&B.
He's also worked on his own. He released the album Have It All in 2010, followed by Long Road, which leaned into country. He's a Grammy nominee and a multi-award-winning performer. Long before the music took over, he was a child actor: born in West Palm Beach, Florida, in 1978, he made his acting debut at age eight in the 1986 film Truth or Dare and later landed roles in Nickelodeon shows like Welcome Freshman and Hi Honey, I'm Home!.
