Cinematic live-to-film show in which a 12-piece rock and orchestral ensemble plays the Twilight film score while the movie plays on a full-size cinema screen.
Twilight in Concert comes to the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Theater on Monday, March 29, 2027, as part of the Live at the Eccles series. It's a live-to-film event, which is a fancy way of saying the movie plays on a full-size cinema screen while a live ensemble performs the score right there in the room. The film is Twilight (2008), the first movie of the saga, so you'll be watching the story of Bella and Edward from the start.
On stage is a 12-piece ensemble of rock and orchestral musicians playing the score in real time, timed to the action on screen. The show leans into the saga's most romantic and dramatic moments, with Bella's Lullaby and the battle scenes getting their own live treatments. More than a thousand twinkling candles illuminate the stage, and the whole thing is aimed at devoted Twilight fans and newcomers alike.
