A conversation with bestselling author Jodi Picoult at the inaugural Salt Lake Book Festival, with a signed copy of her novel 'Hollow Bones' included in the ticket.
Jodi Picoult will be at West High School on Saturday, October 17, for a conversation about her novel Hollow Bones. It's part of the inaugural Salt Lake Book Festival, which is being built from the ground up for the city and its people, with author conversations, panels, local vendors, and community partner booths along Rio Grande Street.
Hollow Bones follows Molly Fitzgerald, a woman whose mother disappeared at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, and who now runs the Rhode Island Department for Emergency Preparedness. Picoult is a #1 New York Times bestselling author, and this conversation is one of the main features of the festival's opening weekend. The ticket includes a signed copy of the book, so you'll leave with the novel in hand.
The festival is designed to be accessible to readers of all abilities: ASL interpreters are provided at the Main Stage and at the Picoult conversation, and legally recognized service animals are welcome at all venues. If you're planning to make a day of it, the other festival events—the panels, the vendors, and the community booths—will be running along Rio Grande Street.
