A 10-piece band led by Roger Waters' son Harry Waters recreates the music of Pink Floyd's 1971-1979 era, with Waters' imagery projected on LED screens.
Roger Waters presents Legacy comes to the Delta Performance Hall at the George S. and Dolores Dore Eccles Theater on Wednesday, September 15, 2027. It's a Pink Floyd tribute show created under Roger Waters' direction, though Waters himself doesn't perform live. He guided the production's development and then handed the reins to his son, Harry Waters.
LEGACY is a new live production celebrating the music and visual world of Pink Floyd's golden era, 1971–1979. The set draws from The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall. Along with the music, the staging presents a pictorial retrospective of imagery Waters created during his time as the band's creative force, projected on high-definition LED screens. The show runs over two hours.
Harry Waters serves as musical director and leads a 10-piece band. He's a longtime touring musician, pianist, and composer who spent more than 15 years in his father's band; his voice was recorded for "Goodbye Blue Sky" on The Wall. He plays B3 organ and piano and sings, and he chose the show's lead singer, Clifton David Broadbridge, after reviewing more than 3,000 audition submissions. The Salt Lake City date is part of a touring program of more than 100 performances.
