Stand-up show by Los Angeles comedian Rick Glassman, known for 'As We See It' and 'Not Dead Yet', at The Cabaret at Wiseguys.
Rick Glassman is playing The Cabaret at Wiseguys on Friday, November 13, and Saturday, November 14, with two shows each nightβone at 7 PM and another at 9:30 PM. If you've seen him on TV, you've probably known him as an actor first, but stand-up is where he spends most of his time.
He's a Los Angeles-based comedian, writer, and actor who's built a pretty wide footprint across a few different formats. On the screen, he stars as Jack in the Amazon Original series As We See It and as Edward in the ABC sitcom Not Dead Yet. Before those, he had a leading role in Bill Lawrence's NBC ensemble sitcom Undateable, and he played Harold Ramis in David Wain's National Lampoon biopic A Futile and Stupid Gesture. He also wrote, directed, and starred in the award-winning five-episode series The Sixth Lead, which he based on his own experience on Undateable.
Beyond the acting, he hosts a weekly podcast called Take Your Shoes Off, with guests like Dax Shepard, Kristen Bell, and Marc Maron. The Economist once described the show's YouTube format as "one of the most ground-breaking podcasts in the last 75 years," which is a high bar for any podcast to clear. His other TV credits include recurring roles on Paramount Network's Nobodies, FX's The Comedians, Comedy Central's @Midnight, and Adam Devine's House Party.

The Cabaret is a 250-seat showroom that Wiseguys opened at The Gateway in February 2025 as the venue's third room, so it's still one of the newer spots in the city. Glassman plays there Friday, November 13, and Saturday, November 14, with 7 PM and 9:30 PM sets both nights.
