Bryan Callen

Bryan Callen is playing The Showroom on Friday, November 27, for a stand-up comedy set. If you've seen him on screen but haven't caught him live, this is a good chance to see the other side of what he does.

Callen is a comedian, actor, and podcaster who's worked across a lot of different formats. He's probably most recognizable as Coach Mellor on ABC's Schooled and The Goldbergs, and he was one of the original cast members of MadTV. His screen credits run from Kingdom, Hangover 1 & 2, and Ride Along to Sex and the City, Old School, Entourage, and Californication—a fair bit of ground to cover between sketch comedy, sitcoms, and big movies.

On the stand-up side, his third one-hour special, Complicated Apes, topped the iTunes charts when it came out in March 2019 and is available on Amazon Prime. He also spends a lot of time behind a mic: he co-hosts the top-rated iTunes podcasts The Fighter and The Kid and Big & Hungry, as well as Conspiracy Social Club AKA Deep Waters on Patreon.

The show is at The Showroom, Wiseguys Comedy Club's first Salt Lake City room, which opened at The Gateway Mall in 2014. The club itself goes back to 2001 and has hosted names like Tracy Morgan, Kevin Hart, David Spade, Joe Rogan, and Wanda Sykes. You can find it at 190 South 400 West, Salt Lake City, Utah 84101.
