New Year's Eve festival headlined by Post Malone and Alesso at the Delta Center, part of the Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth Winter Weekend.
Post Malone and Alesso are headlining the New Year's Eve Festival at the Delta Center on Thursday, December 31, 2026. It's a New Year's Eve show, so the timing is built for the countdown: doors open at 9 PM and the music starts at 10 PM, which puts the main act right up against the midnight transition.
The festival is part of Smith Entertainment Group's first-ever Winter Weekend, a four-day sports-and-entertainment run put together by SEG chairman and CEO Ryan Smith, who also owns the Utah Jazz and the Utah Mammoth. The weekend pairs the arena's music acts with major NBA and NHL games, including the 2027 Discover NHL Winter Classic at Rice-Eccles Stadium—Utah's first outdoor NHL game. The music partner is Palm Tree Crew, the global entertainment company co-founded by DJ and producer Kygo and entrepreneur Myles Shear, known for destination festivals in Aspen, the Hamptons and Napa Valley.
Post Malone, the stage name of Utah resident Austin Post, has played Rice-Eccles Stadium each of the last two years and brings more than 63 million monthly Spotify listeners to the bill. Alesso joins him with more than 16.5 million. Between the two, the night covers a lot of ground, from Malone's melodic reach to Alesso's dance-floor presence.

On the practical side, there are more than 6,000 tickets available for less than $125. With doors at 9 PM and the show starting at 10 PM, you've got a window to get in and settled before the music kicks off.
