Utah Pride Center's signature 21+ Halloween fundraiser with live DJs, dancing, drag-hosted bingo, food and drinks and a costume contest with a $1,500 grand prize.
Utah Pride brings the HalloQueen Ball back to the Salt Lake Masonic Temple on Saturday, October 31, from 8 PM to 1 AM. It's the Utah Pride Center's signature Halloween fundraiser, a 21+ party that returns every year and invites the community to mark the holiday in true queer fashion. The night spreads across several floors, mixing live DJs and dancing with drag-hosted bingo, food, and drinks.
The costume contest is the center of the evening. It crowns a winner across eight categories, and the final round is decided by the audience. The grand prize reaches $1,500, and entry is free with your ticket, so you don't have to pay extra to get in on it. Between the contest and the bingo, there's plenty of room to just hang out and dance.
Beyond the party, the night is a fundraiser for the Utah Pride Center's year-round programs, services, and community events. The Center also produces the Utah Pride Rally, March, Festival, and Parade, the state's largest LGBTQIA+ celebration, which draws tens of thousands of participants, performers, partners, and allies. If you're coming from out of town, discounted room rates are available at the Hilton Salt Lake City and the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Salt Lake City.
