French acoustic guitar virtuoso Pierre Bensusan plays the Sugar Space Arts Warehouse on his Infinite Guitar Tour 2026.
Pierre Bensusan plays Sugar Space Arts Warehouse on Friday, October 23, at 7:30 PM. It's a solo acoustic set, and it's part of his international Infinite Guitar Tour 2026. He's a French guitarist, vocalist, and composer who's been performing since 1974 and has sold more than half a million albums. He's widely known as "Mister DADGAD," after the signature open tuning that defines his sound. His playing pulls from world music, classical, jazz, traditional, Celtic, and folk influences.
He's picked up a few awards along the way: the Rose d'Or at the Montreux Festival for his debut album, an Independent Music Award for the live album Encore, and a Best World Music Guitarist vote from Guitar Player Magazine. He's also worked with artists like Steve Vai and Donny Osmond, who asked him to record "Footprints" for the album Start Again. The Salt Lake City date is one stop on the Infinite Guitar Tour 2026, and it marks a return to the city. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door; the show starts at 7:30 PM at Sugar Space Arts Warehouse, 132 South 800 West.
