Nightmare on Westminster Street

Nightmare on Westminster Street is coming to the Jewett Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, October 29, at 5 PM. It's a horror show taking place right on the Westminster University campus in Salt Lake City, and the title gives away exactly what you're getting into. If you've been looking for something to do on a Thursday evening that leans into the Halloween season, this is a good place to start.

The show is billed as a horror production, and the Jewett Center is the university's main performing arts space, so you'll be seeing it on a proper stage rather than in a black box or a makeshift room. It's a single-evening event, which means if you want to catch it, you'll need to make it there on the 29th. The 5 PM start is a bit earlier than your typical night out, so it works well if you're coming straight from work or school and want to be home before it gets too late.

Since it's hosted at Westminster University, the venue is right in the heart of the campus. The Jewett Center is the hub for their performing arts programs, and this is one of the productions they're putting on this fall. It's a horror show, so expect the atmosphere to lean into the spooky side of things—the kind of thing that fits right in with the end-of-October vibe. If you're into horror, this is a straightforward way to spend a Thursday evening in the city.
