Beginner-friendly workshop led by Jungian coach Amy Lukas that uses a Jungian lens to explore the hidden patterns and beliefs that shape how we earn, spend and value ourselves.
Amy Lukas leads a workshop called Money & Shadow at Golden Braid Books on Thursday, December 3, from 6 PM to 7:30 PM. It's a 90-minute session that looks at money through a Jungian lens, and it's open to everyone, regardless of where you're starting from.
The focus isn't on budgets, spreadsheets, or financial strategies. Instead, the workshop looks at the hidden patterns, emotional triggers, and unconscious beliefs that shape how we earn, spend, save, and value ourselves. Lukas frames these as coming from family conditioning, cultural messages, and the disowned parts of the self—the "shadow" side of our relationship with money. Rather than a lecture, the session works through reflection, experiential exercises, and compassionate inquiry.
Lukas comes to this from a specific background. She's the founder of Fallow Renewal and a Jungian coach who spent two decades as a design entrepreneur before shifting her practice toward Jungian coaching and depth psychology, drawing on Eastern philosophy and social neuroscience. That mix of business experience and psychological work is what informs the session.
