Mo Banjo Co Presents: Front Row Locomotive & The Ridgeliners

The Ridgeliners play Fisher Brewing Company on Thursday, October 15, with Front Row Locomotive opening. The night is presented by Mo Banjo Co, and it's a double bill that keeps the focus on country, folk, and americana.

The Ridgeliners started as a duo between Justin Bradford and Michael J Williams, born out of a late-night writing session over a bottle of whiskey. From there they've built a sound around flashy vocal runs and guitar solos, pulling from a wide range of country and roots music. Their list of inspirations runs from The SteelDrivers, Sturgill Simpson, and Chris Stapleton to Billy Strings, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Red Clay Strays, CCR, and Tyler Childers — names that cover a lot of ground, from modern Americana and bluegrass to Southern rock and the swampy, rootsy side of the 60s and 70s.

There's a bit of a distance gap between the two of them, too: Justin is based in Denver and Michael is based right here in Salt Lake City. That makes this one a home-turf show for half the duo.

Front Row Locomotive takes the first slot of the night, followed by The Ridgeliners. The show starts at 9:30 PM at Fisher Brewing Company, 320 W 800 S, Salt Lake City.
