Ten-course collaboration dinner between chefs Leonardo Li Mura of mina and Justen Moser of Hide and Seek, with three seatings of 20 guests each.
mina is hosting a ten-course collaboration dinner on Monday, October 26, bringing together two chefs from very different corners of the city. Leonardo Li Mura, whose cooking is rooted in classic Sicilian traditions, is teaming up with Justen Moser of Hide and Seek, who works a modern American spin. It's a one-off event, and the way they're doing it is a bit different from your usual collab.
Usually, when two chefs share a bill, they trade off—one takes a few courses, then the other picks up. Not here. Every one of the ten plates is a true collaboration between the two, with Li Mura and Moser working together on each dish rather than handing off. The whole thing is framed as a look at the camaraderie of Utah's hospitality scene, two chefs from different backgrounds coming together on the same plate.

Because it's ten courses, you'll want to clear your schedule for the evening. There are three seatings—5 PM, 7 PM, and 9 PM—and each one is limited to 20 guests, so it's a small room. The food is $145 per person, and there's an optional wine pairing for $100. If you're planning to go, it's worth keeping the seatings in mind, as they'll fill up fast.
