Stand-up show headlined by New York comedian Maddy Kelly at The Cabaret, Wiseguys' showroom at The Gateway.
Maddy Kelly plays The Cabaret at Wiseguys Comedy Cafe on Wednesday, October 28, at 7 PM. She's a Canadian-born stand-up comedian, writer, actor, and producer based in New York City, and this is a headlining set. If you're not familiar with her, she was raised by an Irish father and an Indian mother, and her perspective is described as singular and off-beat but widely relatable.
She's been headlining clubs across the U.S., and her stand-up has been featured in The New Yorker, The New York Times, and Vulture. It earned a Webby and made its late-night debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Beyond the stage, she wrote for the political satire series This Hour Has 22 Minutes, appeared in CBC's The New Wave of Standup, and was a 2023 Just For Laughs New Face. This is a full headlining show, so she'll be the main act of the night.
