Eleven-piece Russian ensemble that recreates the music of the supergroup Chicago, recommended for ages 8 and up.
Leonid & Friends play the Delta Hall at the Eccles Theater on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. They're an 11-piece Russian ensemble that recreates the music of the American supergroup Chicago note for note. It's a full-band tribute, so you'll get the horns and the arrangements rather than just a stripped-back version of the songs.
There's a bit of a story behind how they do it: the group has worked their way through Chicago's catalog without having seen the band perform live until recently. They've spent multiple sold-out U.S. tours playing those arrangements, and they've drawn hundreds of thousands of fans around the world. The reviews they've picked up praise their ability to capture Chicago's spirit, musicality, and fire, so the focus here is on the sound and the energy of the original recordings rather than a loose interpretation.
If you're planning to bring the family, there are a few things to keep in mind. The show is recommended for ages 8 and up, infants aren't admitted, and everyone needs a ticket regardless of age. There's also a VIP Meet & Greet add-on available: after the concert, wristband holders can meet the band, take a group photo, and have merchandise or memorabilia signed. You'll still need a performance ticket to get into the venue, so the add-on is something you buy on top of your seat.
