Classical concert pianist Josh Wright performs traditional carols and classical works in a seasonal concert.
Josh Wright is playing a classical Christmas concert at The Grand Theatre on Monday, December 7, 2026. He's a Salt Lake City pianist who has played across the United States and Europe, and he's a Billboard #1 classical recording artist. The Washington Post described him as a pianist with "rare gifts — touch, intelligence and the ability to surprise."
The program pairs timeless classical works with traditional carols, reimagined for the piano. It's a mix of the two: the rigour of the classical tradition on one hand and the warmth of seasonal melodies on the other. You'll hear the carols you know, but played with the same attention he brings to the classical pieces.

Wright is a local, so this is one of his own playing in the city. He's spent years performing on both sides of the Atlantic, and this is a chance to catch him here in Salt Lake City rather than following his tour. The concert starts at 7:30 PM, and admission is free.
