Halloween and Dia de los Muertos party at Golden Braid Books with craft tables and 10% off book readings.
Golden Braid Books is hosting its Annual Spookytown Party starting Thursday, October 29, and it's a double-header this year. The party brings together Halloween and Dia de los Muertos under one roof, so it's as much about the Day of the Dead as it is about the spooky season. It's an annual thing for the shop, and this year it runs for several days rather than just one night.
Inside, they're setting up craft tables, so you can spend some time making things while you're there. If you're more into the reading side of the shop, there's a 10% discount on readings throughout the event. It's a good excuse to get a reading you've been putting off, especially if you're already stopping by for the crafts.
The party kicks off at 10 AM on Thursday, October 29, and runs through Monday, November 2, closing up at 8 PM that evening. Since it spans five days, you don't have to rush in on the first oneβyou can drop in whenever fits your schedule over the long weekend.
