Dance Class for Humans

Jamie Meyers leads a dance class at Westminster Performing Arts Center on Thursday, October 22, starting at 6:30 PM. The session is presented by loveDANCEmore, and it's an accessible class focused on modern and contemporary movement. The idea is to bring together dancers from all sorts of backgrounds to explore different techniques in the same room, so you don't need a specific training background to join in.

If you can't make this one, there are several more dates coming up: Monday, October 26; Thursday, October 29; Tuesday, November 2; and Saturday, November 7. All of them are part of the same series, so you can drop in for one or keep coming back across the next few weeks.

Admission is first come, first served, and the suggested donation is $5 to $15. They've made it clear that no one is turned away for lack of funds, so you can show up and dance regardless of what you can chip in. Parking is available in the campus structure right next to the center, which makes getting there pretty easy.

That first session is Thursday, October 22, at 6:30 PM at Westminster Performing Arts Center, 1724 S 1300 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84105.
