Fall festival at Cross-E Ranch with extended hours on weekends, closing at 5pm on Halloween.
Cross-E Ranch is running its Fall Festival again this year, and it's a long one. It opens on September 25 and stays open all the way through October 31, so you've got over a month to fit it in whenever your schedule allows. The ranch is at 3500 North 2200 West in Salt Lake City, and the festival runs every single day of that stretch.
Because it's open so many days, the hours shift depending on when you go. Monday through Thursday, it's 4 PM to 9 PM. Friday goes a bit later, until 10 PM. Saturday is the big day, open from 10 AM to 10 PM, which gives you a full twelve hours to work with if you want to spend a whole afternoon and evening there. The only exception is the final day: on Halloween, October 31, it closes early at 5 PM, so if that's your only window, you'll want to get there in the morning.

Tickets run from $16.95 to $24.95, depending on the option you go for. With the festival stretching from late September through the end of October, you don't have to rush it—you can pick a weekday evening after work, a late Friday night, or a full Saturday when you've got the whole day free. Just keep that Halloween closing time in mind if you're planning to wait until the very end.
