Two-hour hands-on workshop led by artist Ashley Mott to create framed botanical art from pressed flowers and seasonal leaves.
Ashley Mott is leading a pressed botanicals workshop at Asher Adams, Autograph Collection on Thursday, November 5, from 6 PM to 8 PM. It's a two-hour hands-on session organized by Craft Lake City, and the doors open at 5:45 PM. Mott is a local artist and educator with Alpenglow Arts, and she'll be guiding the group through the process of turning pressed blooms and seasonal leaves into framed botanical artwork.
Over the course of the evening, you'll arrange, design, and frame your own piece, pairing delicate flowers with a background and an upcycled frame that reflect your personal style. Mott provides individual guidance on composition, frame styling, and assembly, and she'll also share tips for collecting, pressing, and caring for botanicals at home. The session is open to all ages, so it works as a solo project or something to do with a younger family member.
