A free, drop-in, family-friendly science-and-crafts programme about bats, bugs and spiders at Clark Planetarium.
Clark Planetarium is hosting Creepy Crawly Creations on Saturday, October 31, from 12 PM to 4 PM. It's a science-meets-art activity that centers on the creepy-crawly creatures living around usโbats, bugs, and spiders. The whole thing is run by the planetarium, and it's designed as a family-friendly afternoon where you can spend as much or as little time as you like.
The format is a drop-in, in-person program, so you don't have to be there right at noon to get in on it. You can swing by whenever you're free between 12 and 4, stay for a bit, and head out when you're done. It's open to all ages, which makes it an easy one to bring the kids along for, especially since it's on Halloween.
This isn't a one-off, either. The planetarium stages this as a regular thing on the last Saturday of the month, so if you miss this one, there'll be another chance soon enough. This particular edition just happens to land on Halloween, which fits the theme of bats and spiders a little too well.
