Electronic dance music trio Cheat Codes perform a high-energy set at the Sky SLC venue.
Cheat Codes are back at Sky SLC on Friday, October 16, starting at 9:15 PM. The Los Angeles electronic trio has played the venue before, and this is a return to the same room.
If you're not familiar with them, they've been around since 2015, when they debuted with the house track "Visions," which sat in the same vein as Avicii and Swedish House Mafia. The three members—KEVI Ford, Trevor Dahl, and Matthew Russell—all come out of L.A., and their sound has shifted across the years, moving from warm pop to big house bangers. Along the way, they've put out tracks like "Don't Say No" featuring Dresses, "Senses" featuring Lostboycrow, and "Adventure" featuring Evan Gartner, as well as the global hits "Sex" with Kris Kross Amsterdam and "Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)" with Dante Klein.
In 2016, they released "No Promises" with Demi Lovato on vocals and took it on a world tour, later following it with "Feels Great," which featured Fetty Wap. They've also joined The Chainsmokers on tour. They're returning to Sky SLC with a catalog of platinum-worthy pop hooks and big house energy built for the main room, and they've described the night as one of warm grooves and high-energy DJ sets.
