Brooks Wheelan

Brooks Wheelan is bringing his stand-up to The Cabaret at Wiseguys on Friday, December 18, with two shows that night—one at 6:30 PM and another at 9:00 PM. He's an Iowa native and University of Iowa alumnus who first made a name for himself in 2012, when he performed at the New York Comedy Festival as one of Comedy Central's Top 10 Comics to Watch, and later as a breakout performer at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. He's a writer and cast member from season 39 of Saturday Night Live, and he's appeared on HBO's Girls, Comedy Central's The Half Hour and @Midnight, Adam Devine's House Party, NBC's Late Night with Seth Meyers, MTV's Ridiculousness, and TBS' CONAN. Rolling Stone named him one of the Top 45 Acts of Bonnaroo 2014. He lives in Los Angeles now.

The venue is The Cabaret, a 250-seat showroom Wiseguys opened at its Salt Lake City location in February 2025. It's the company's third room here, and it comes with full audio-visual capabilities for private parties and the same food and drink menu as The Showroom. The room is 21+, so you'll need your ID to get in. The Cabaret is located at The Gateway, 190 South 400 West, Salt Lake City, Utah 84101. Wheelan plays Friday, December 18, with showtimes at 6:30 PM and 9:00 PM.
