DJ night with Alex Cameron at The Urban Lounge-UT in Salt Lake City.
Alex Cameron is playing The Urban Lounge on Tuesday, November 17, with the set starting at 7 PM. It's a DJ session, and he's sharing the booth with Josh da Costa, so the two of them will be handling the music throughout the night. If you're not familiar with Cameron's work, he's an artist who blends pop, soul, and a bit of a theatrical streak, and this is a night where he's stepping behind the decks rather than taking the stage with a full band.
Having two DJs in the mix changes the dynamic from a standard headliner set. Instead of one person running the room, you've got Cameron and da Costa working together, which usually means a longer, more fluid set that can shift gears on the fly. It's less about a setlist and more about how they read the room and play off each other as the night goes on.

The Urban Lounge is in Salt Lake City, and the session kicks off at 7 PM on a Tuesday, so it's a mid-week night out rather than a weekend crowd. If you've been following Cameron's records, this is a chance to hear him working with other music and keeping the room moving for a few hours. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.
