A community 5K race through Dorothea Dix Park with a stroller division, finisher medals, and an afterparty at Trophy Brewing.
Trophy Trot returns to Dorothea Dix Park on Thursday, November 26, 2026, for its tenth year. It's a community 5K that's grown into a regular part of Raleigh's Thanksgiving Day celebrations, run through the city's premier park. The race starts at 9 AM, with the start line at 1251 Goode Street, Raleigh, NC 27603.
It's a family-friendly event, with a stroller division running alongside the main race, so you can bring the kids along. Every participant gets a finisher medal and a beer from Trophy Brewing, with non-alcoholic options available. If you want a premium poly-blend tee, that's an additional cost. Awards go to the top three overall male and female finishers, and there are also winners in age-group, Masters, Grand Masters, and stroller divisions.
All proceeds support Healing Transitions of Raleigh, a cause that brought in over $60,000 in 2025. After you cross the finish line, the party moves to Trophy Brewing at 656 Maywood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27603, where you can use that beer you earned.
