Interactive theatre for young audiences presented by Seed Art Share, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Raleigh's Greenway.
The Many Adventures of Peter Rabbit comes to the Stone Houses Visitor Center on Sunday, October 11, from 2 PM to 5 PM. It's an interactive theatre piece for young audiences, put on by Seed Art Share, and it's built around the character of Peter Rabbit.
Because it's interactive, the show isn't just something you sit and watch from a seat. The young audience gets to be part of the action, so if you're bringing kids, they'll be doing more than just listening. It's the kind of production where the kids are as much a part of the story as the actors on stage.
The show is also part of a larger celebration: the 50th anniversary of Raleigh's Greenway. That's a half-century of the city's connected paths, and this performance is one of the ways the city is marking the milestone. It's a nice tie-in, tooβa story about a rabbit out in the garden, performed in a park, as part of a celebration of the greenways that run through the city.

Seed Art Share is the group behind it, and they're the ones bringing the story to life. The whole thing runs from 2 PM to 5 PM at the Stone Houses Visitor Center in Dix Park, so it's a Sunday afternoon activity that fits right into the park. If you're already planning to be out in Dix Park that day, it's a convenient spot to stop.
