Retro Video Games Popup

Retro Video Games Popup comes to 321 Coffee Shop on Tuesday, October 13, from 12 PM to 2 PM. It's a drop-in gaming session, so you don't need to commit your whole afternoon—you can just swing by whenever you have a break and hang out for a bit.

The setup is pass-and-play, with the games running in the conference rooms at the shop. That's the core of it: you take a turn, then pass the controller to the next person. It's built for a rotating crowd, so it works whether you're there for ten minutes or the full two hours. If you're on your own, it's an easy way to get a few rounds in; if you're with friends, you can take turns together.

As for the games, the focus is on retro titles, so you'll be playing older classics rather than the latest releases. The whole thing is free, and since it's a drop-in, there's no need to sign up or arrive right at the start. You can just show up when it suits you.

You'll find it at 321 Coffee Shop in Venture Place, located at 930 Main Campus Dr. in Raleigh, which is part of the Centennial Campus at NC State University. It runs from 12 PM to 2 PM on Tuesday, October 13, and it's a free event.
