Monthly pop-up art market featuring local artists and makers, homemade food and drinks, with a rotating schedule of local food trucks.
Pop Shop ARTernative Market returns to Chapel of Bones on Sunday, November 1, from 10 AM to 3 PM. It's a monthly art market run by the venue, and this edition brings together a variety of local artists and makers selling their work. The vendor list rotates each month, so you'll find a different mix of creators every time it comes around.
If you haven't spent much time there, Chapel of Bones is a Raleigh metal venue and coffee lounge that does a lot more than just loud music. The coffee side of the house serves coffee, cocktails, draft beers, blended teas, and espresso, with a rotating schedule of local food trucks pulling up outside. Beyond the music, they program burlesque nights, yoga sessions, karaoke, art pop-ups, community gatherings, independent films, and parties. It's a wide range for one spot, and it earned a Best of BusinessRate 202 kind award for its work in the community.

The market itself fits right into that mix. It gathers work from a variety of local creators and makers, and because the vendors change from month to month, there's usually something new to see even if you've been before. It's an all-ages event, so it works as a family outing as much as a solo browse. Entry is free, and it runs from 10 AM to 3 PM on Sunday, November 1, at Chapel of Bones, 658 Maywood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27603.
