A home improvement show where visitors meet professionals and compare products for home projects, with free entry for children.
The North Carolina Home Show takes over the Atlantic Union Bank Convention Center on Saturday, October 17, and Sunday, October 18. It's an open-consumer show run by American Consumer Shows, and the whole point is to get you in one room with the people who actually do the work. You'll find home improvement, remodeling, landscaping and design professionals all in one place, so you can talk through your ideas and compare products for your own home projects without having to call around to a dozen different companies.
If you've been staring at a dated kitchen, a tired bathroom, or a backyard that's seen better days, this is a good way to see what's out there. You can walk from one booth to the next, get a feel for different styles, and pick up some professional advice on the fly. It's less about browsing a catalog and more about talking to the people who can actually get the job done.
The show runs across two days, so you can pick whichever fits your weekend. On Saturday, it's open from 10 AM to 8 PM, and on Sunday it runs from 10 AM to 5 PM. That's a long window on Saturday if you want to take your time and really poke around. The venue is the Atlantic Union Bank Convention Center at 500 South Salisbury Street in downtown Raleigh.
