Author event with Danielle L. Jensen and Mai Corland celebrating the release of Defy the Dusk, a conversation-only event with a signed copy included.
Danielle L. Jensen comes to the A.J. Fletcher Opera Theater on Wednesday, November 4, for a conversation celebrating the release of Defy the Dusk, the first book in The Sundering Duet. It's a conversation-only event, so the night is built around her talking about the new book rather than a reading or a performance. Your ticket includes a signed copy, and there'll be signed stock available for purchase if you want more.
Jensen is a #1 New York Times bestselling author of high-stakes fantasy. You might know her from A Fate Inked in Blood and A Curse Carved in Bone, or from the Bridge Kingdom, Dark Shores, and Malediction series. Her novels are published internationally in twenty-one languages, and she lives in Calgary, Alberta, with her family and her guinea pigs.
The venue is the A.J. Fletcher Opera Theater, on the east side of the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts at 2 E. South St. in downtown Raleigh. It's a 600-seat room built for opera, dance, music, and theatrical productions in an intimate setting, and it's home to the Carolina Ballet. Its stage has hosted Boney James, Post Modern Jukebox, Richa Sharma, Hannibal Buress, and Vice President Kamala Harris.
